Well what a month it has been since my last news blog and we are all on the countdown to get the year of 2020 over and done with.
The Peel Chamber of Commerce awards were announced last week,  I didn't get a guernsey, however I did receive a special recommendation in one of the categories I was a finalist in. These milestones give me the incentive to keep doing what I love and share the passion of reading with my tribe.

The mighty RBG left our world recently and I cant thank her enough for being an inspiration for me over the last 10 years since I found out about this amazing woman. Her quiet determination to live life on her terms and make the world, not only the US,  an equal place for women is a strength only a few have. I admire her life long persistence to her beliefs and values. Vale RBG.

And of course only yesterday to hear the sad news of the death of Helen Reddy, another amazing woman who kicked goals for all women in gaining equality. Her  anthem song, I am Woman, has been my signature song for all the times I doubted myself and needed strength to face challenges in my life. 
My youngest daughter is 24, has a career in Real Estate and has recently purchased a home of her very own. Its with thanks and gratitude to these two female icons of our times, that this generation of women who purchase a house by themselves see it as a normal natural thing to do. Here me Roar!!
