Well this year seems to be flying by, May already.
Another new market venue has been added to the MLB metro market scene. The beautiful heritage town of Guildford and the Stirling Square markets. Cruising Casey will have its own little space of book reading heaven every third Sunday of the month, starting on the 16th of this month. For those of you not familiar with Guildford, it is one of Perth's most historic towns half an hour north east of the city. Rebecca Higgies book The History of Mischief has the story set in Guildford. Looking forward to meeting a whole new bunch of dedicated and crazy bibliophiles. YES!!!!!!!
I'm heading out on the country highways to the Wheatbelt, the week of the 24th and I cannot wait to feel the breeze and wide open spaces of this most scenic ( read rugged Australian ) of drives. Kondinin and surrounds here we come. If you are in the region, and lets be honest, 150kms away is just up the road for country Australia, then we would love to see you.
Don't forget to check out my May monthly book review episode 696, around the 31 minute mark, on The Couch TV . I'm talking all things bookish and a review of the gos from the annual ABIA awards held recently. I totally love that my small business gets the opportunity to promote WA authors and reach a wider audience of readers and bookies.
As I write its quite late in the evening so its a cup of tea time, promise its just one small biscuit and finish off my book I'm reading. Updates on this sneaky new release at a later date. Lets just say I cant enough of this story.
Thanks so much for the continued support of My Little Bookshop. The online orders, the google reviews and your amazing loyalty for local small business, especially in these Covid 19 economic times, melts my heart each time. All the feels. Much love
