Well we finally made it to the end of this crazy tumultuous year of 2020. Phew!!
I started this year with plans ready to go for Audrey the van to roll out on some country road trips, an Australian Booksellers Association conference in Sydney and to finally get around to improving my online store. Personally, I had a trip to Germany booked for September with a mini break to Bali thrown in for the end of March. In January and February I watched the news of the virus as something to take note of but was happening on the other side of the world. March came crashing down for us to be in severe lockdown here in Western Australia and with it my dreams of my small business going down the tubes also. I took on board eating cake as a staple three meals a day, and quite a few glasses of bubbles (well bottles really). Its amazing what ended up being quite normal during these months, I'm sure you had routines too that you never thought were possible.
Talk about getting a new business plan into action very quickly, I saw the new buzz word  in business circles was to "pivot'. Pivot lol, I was 360 degrees, the exorcist pivoting. With the love and support of all of you fabulous readers, followers and friends, I managed to hang on to my dream and woops of joy, I'm still here!! I couldn't of done it without you.
I just want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, thank you so much for your support over the year, it means the world to me. Lets all take a collective sigh of relief for the upcoming summer break and lazy days reading, swimming and sleeping in.
As we all head to 2021, here's cheers to all the grand plans ( and grand they are for My Little Bookshop, stay tuned ) we have made for it, fingers crossed, let them come to fruition and be bloody bountiful.
From my family to your family. Merry Christmas xxxx
